RADPUSZTA

By buying an old, demolished building in 1998 in a small village of only 150 inhabitans, started a development, which resulted in a great building complex. The seven hectare area is noble and simply called Rádpuszta Csárda (tavern) and Lovasudvar (horse court).

The traditional foods, smoothing wines, lipizanian horses, hungarian age-old animals and the live gipsy music are bringing the old times peaceful atmosphere. The church's ruin of Árpád's time nearby invites the guests every summer to famous concerts.

The thached roof horsecentre, built nearby the nature reserve, grown up to a „Mekka” of nature lovers and horsefriends. By building a guesthouse of 24 beds, a real holiday centre developed.

The Rádpuszta Csárda and Horsecentre is waiting for guests with changing programmes and kitchen's specialities the whole year.

From springtime to autumn you can be our guest in horsemenshow, folklore dance programmes (with live gipsy music), you also can take a drive out by horsecar to the wineyards, take part at cooking-lessons, goulash parties and barbecues. Or just take a ride out on a horses back.

In autumn we like to invite you the grapes harvest and in winter you can take part of slaughter festival.

Horserider show

1. Horserider show in Rádpuszta (qualified high standard show place)

·         A traditionaly horserider show with skillfullness games of horseriders, taking a seat, scarf tearing, table pleasures with oat, wine holding, presentation of the whips, Koch 5, Lipizanian horse car etc.

·         The programmes lasts for about 45 minutes

Balaton wine cellar – Wine tasting

2. Visit of wine cellar and wine tasting I.

• Welcomedrink and bread with ducks fat
• Visit of Balaton wine cellar, wine tasting (3 kinds of wines, more kinds also available )
• After the wine tasting, half a liter of wine consumption per person
• Visit of the horse centre with lipizanian horses
• Possibility of riding (own costs)

5. Folklore night with dinner

• Folklore night in two parts with Kanizsan folkdance group, in the break, dinner with live gipsy music
• Exclusive dance programmes with games
• In the final, group dance with the guests
• Menu: Csikós Menu (Beef stew, garnish, dessert), wine, sodawater, softdrinks (consumption of drinks and food without any limit)
• The programme lasts for about 2,5 – 3 hours
